Clinical Hypnotherapy - the diagnosis
of problems and the application of hypnotherapeutic approaches to treat
patients within a clinical framework.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) -
psychotherapy that involves the identification of distorted thinking
and replacing it with more rational ideas and thoughts.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) -
a form of meridian therapy using acupressure to develop emotional well-being
and relieve physical symptoms.
EMT (Eye Movement Therapy) - the use
of eye movement to aid left-brain, right-brain processing of traumatic
life events.
Hypno-Analysis (Analytical Hypnotherapy) –
the use of hypnosis in a therapeutic and analytical framework,
to identify the root cause of symptoms and resolve them.
Life Coaching - helping to develop
and sustain successful strategies, whether for behavioural change or
for meeting aspirational goals.
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)
- exploring the relationships between how we think (neuro), how we communicate
(linguistic) and our patterns of behaviour and emotion (programmes)
and modelling successful patterns.
Psychotherapy - dialogue and exploration
with a therapist. Designed to help the person arrive at a conscious
understanding of root causes for particular behavious in order to help
change attitudes, behaviours and habits and to develop internal resources.
Regression - a technique, used to
establish the root causes of a problem, or issue, by regressing under
hypnosis, to the origins of the current issues. Learning from previous
experiences, whether from this life or a previous one, is then applied
to deal with the issues in the present. Interestingly, a belief in actual
past lives is not essential for this technique to be successful.
Solution Focused Therapy - therapy
that looks not at what's wrong in your life, but at how you would know
that things were getting better. Movement is always away from the problem
and towards a solution.
